We started as a family-owned heating and air conditioning company in 1963 to meet the indoor climate needs of Western North Carolina. A half-century later, we remain focused on providing quality, dependable service at a competitive price. During 2018, the Gentry Family became part of the Piedmont Service Group of companies and our relationship with Piedmont Service Group has allowed our company to grow to a new level of service and technical expertise. The Gentry Service Group family strives to deliver integrity, respect and consideration to all our customers all of the time. About Gentry Service Group

Gentry Service Group is a privately held HVAC mechanical services company serving property owners and operators throughout Western North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. Since 1963, we have partnered with commercial, industrial, institutional and government organizations to maintain their building for safe, healthy and energy efficient operations.

Gentry Service Group’s relationship with Piedmont Service Group’s Controls Division also provides a total building control solution to integrate HVAC, lighting, security, access, energy management and other building functions in one easily monitored and maintained environment. At the end of the day, we are a local company committed to making sure our clients experience best-in-class customer service. When a customer calls our office for a service request, they are connected with a live human being, employed by Gentry Service Group.

Since 1963, Gentry Service Group’s heart has been immersed in community involvement. We understand the importance of serving our friends and neighbors who are less fortunate and in need of our helping hands. It is with great pride and commitment that we participate in many local programs to reach this goal. Gentry Service Group provides all employees with an additional paid day off each year for missions work or service to the community.
